How far in advance do I need to place an order?
We ask that you place bespoke cake or large orders at least 5–7 days in advance to ensure availability. Smaller orders (cupcakes, brownies) may be accommodated with shorter notice—please contact us to check.
Can I customise a cake (flavour, filling, design)?
Yes! We love making bespoke cakes for birthdays, weddings and other occasions. You can choose base flavours, fillings, frostings, colours and decorations. For best results, book early and provide reference images if you have a vision in mind.
Do you offer same-day or rush orders?
For simple existing designs or cupcakes, we may be able to accommodate same-day orders depending on our schedule. Please call us to check availability.
What if I need to change or cancel my order?

Delivery & Collection
Where is your bakery located?
We are located at 225 Deansgate, Manchester, M3 4EN.
What are your opening hours?
Our café and shop hours vary; typically:
Monday to Saturday: ~ 9 am to 6 pm
Sunday: ~ 10 am to 5 pm

Can I pick up my order in store?
Yes. When placing your order, select collection as the option and choose your desired date and time.
Do you offer local delivery?
Yes, we deliver within Greater Manchester and surrounding areas. Delivery fees depend on distance. (If you enter your postcode at checkout, you’ll see if delivery is available and the delivery cost.)
Do you ship postal boxes nationwide?
Yes — we offer postal boxes for brownies, cupcakes and other treats that can be shipped across the UK. (Please note: postal items have different packaging and delivery times.)
What is the delivery cut-off time?
For local delivery, please order at least 3 days in advance. For postal boxes, place your order so there is sufficient time for transit. (We’ll show expected delivery or dispatch dates in checkout.)
Storage & Shelf Life
How long will my cake or cupcakes stay fresh?
Shelf life depends on the product and ingredients (e.g. fresh fruit, cream). In general:
Cupcakes & standard buttercream cakes: 2–3 days
Cakes with cream/fruit: best eaten on the day or next day
We’ll include guidance with your order.
How should I store my baked goods?
Keep in a cool, dry place, ideally in an airtight container. Avoid direct sunlight or heat. Unless otherwise advised, avoid refrigeration as it can dry out sponges.
Ingredients, Allergens & Dietary Options
Do your cakes contain nuts or allergens?
We use nuts, gluten, dairy, eggs, and other common allergens in our kitchen. While we take care to minimize cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee that any item is 100% allergen-free. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us in advance to discuss options.
Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free or vegan options?
Yes, we have a selection of gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan items. These are by special order, so please let us know when you order. (Availability may be limited.)
Are your products suitable for vegetarians?
Yes — most of our standard cakes and treats are vegetarian-friendly. If a particular decoration or item uses gelatin or non-vegetarian ingredient, we’ll disclose that.
Payment & Pricing
What payment methods do you accept?
In-store, we accept card / cash payments. Online, you can pay via card or the available online payment methods.
Do you require a deposit?
For larger, custom orders (wedding cakes, big bespoke items), we may request a non-refundable deposit to secure the date. The balance is due at collection or delivery.
Is there a minimum order value for delivery?
Yes — for local delivery, there is a minimum order value (for example £X — to be confirmed). Below that, collection will be required.
Other Questions
Can you provide a gift wrap or message?
Absolutely! We can add gift wrapping and a personalised message to your box—just mention it when placing your order.
Do you offer wholesale or corporate orders?
Yes — we can supply cupcakes, cakes and dessert platters for corporate events, offices, weddings, etc. Please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Do you run afternoon tea or catering services?
Yes — we offer afternoon tea with both English and Brazilian touches in our bakery. Bookings are recommended in advance.
